Imeem? mp3s?

Monday, July 9th, 2007

Does anyone here use http://www.imeem.com ? If you do, and you have bought our material (this would be Shortwave Dahlia OR The Jeta Grove) upload it. Every time our music is streamed there we will earn a share of their advertising income.

Also, if you have not already picked up our music, you can buy mp3s at our MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/shortwavedahlia

) or at AmieStreet (http://amiestreet.com/shortwavedahlia).

The Jeta Grove EP - remastered and reissued

Wednesday, April 4th, 2007
I am proud to announce the reissue of the EP released under the moniker The Jeta Grove. These songs, recorded from 2000-2004, represent an important step in my progression as an artist and, while the recording quality and execution are amateurish the songs are well-written. I still get comments on “Tabula Rasa” from time to time and hope everyone who gives these songs a chance finds their own favorite.

It will be available exclusively in our mp3 store, located at our MySpace profile (http://www.myspace.com/shortwavedahlia). Each of the five tracks are available individually at $0.99/track, and a bundled package will be sold at the low price of $3.00.

Thanks for listening and continuing to support this crazy dream.

AmieStreet and Shortwave D to download…

Tuesday, April 3rd, 2007

Well, we need your help. If you haven’t already picked up the 2007EP this is a great way to do it.

The premise of this site? You put your music up there and, initially, it’s free to download. People buy credits to spend at the site and download your music, and as they buy it and make recommendations to others, the song goes up in value (up to $.99, which I think is within reason).

In other words, go join the site, download the songs, and make ‘em worth somethin’! I think the people who get in on this early get a damn good deal.

Shortwave Dahlia Downloads Available

Friday, March 23rd, 2007

Per Jack:

“If you’re more into just having the mp3 files, we’ve opened a digital store on the MySpace profile (http://www.myspace.com/shortwavedahlia where you can buy the songs individually for $.99/song OR the whole EP for $5.00.

The store is powered by SNOCAP, the new venture of Shawn “Napster” Fanning. Isn’t Fanning his last name? I think so. Anyway, it’s awesome.”

You can still order the EP if you want an actual copy with artwork by sending $6.25 (that’s $5.00 for the cd and $1.25 for shipping Media Mail) via Paypal to shortwavedahlia@yahoo.com.

The EP is FANTASTIC and we all highly recommend a copy for you, your family and pets!

BTW: IF you’re in the Memphis area this weekend, don’t forget the Shortwave Dahlia show Tomorrow Night (March 24th) at Neil’s, which is at the intersection of Madison and McLean in Midtown Memphis. The show starts at 9:00 PM with a $3 cover.
Opening bands are Two Way Radio and Holly Cole, so come early to support these great bands!

Allrighty folks!

You’ve heard Jack wax poetic about it!
(And rightly so, I might add!)
And now you can get your very own copy!

Here it is:

Song for Vara

(Please be kind and “Right Click & Save File As” so we don’t blow up the bandwidth!)

This is honestly one of the BEST songs from Shortwave Dahlia EVAH!
It has been on constant repeat on my i-Tunes for a couple days now.

After you download and listen to the track, please post your comments here. I’m sure the band would love to hear your responses!
