MAKESHIFT COMPILATIONAs you may or may not be aware, a studio version of “Loose Arrow” will
be featured on a limited edition bonus disc accompanying the latest
compilation from Makeshift Music. There will be somewhere between 50
and 100 copies of this disc, so be on the lookout.

In fact, you won’t have to look far or hard at all. They’ll be hosting
an in-store at Goner Records on Cooper and Young this Saturday, August
11th. They’ll be selling the special edition at this event, and you’ll
also be able to catch some live performances by a number of the acts on
the compilation. The event runs from 3:00-6:00 PM.

There are a few places carrying copies of the 2007EP currently here in Memphis.

SpinStreet on Poplar and Highland has three copies on the racks for $5.99. Visit with Ralph or Mikey B. and tell ‘em Jack sent you.

Freewheelin’ Franks on Germantown Parkway has the five copies that used to be at Cat’s Music’s Cordova location. He should be selling them for $5.00. He’s a nice guy.

Shangri-La on Madison has two or maybe three copies in stock.

Goner had one but they sold it to someone who volunteers for WEVL.

I am proud to announce the reissue of the EP released under the moniker The Jeta Grove. These songs, recorded from 2000-2004, represent an important step in my progression as an artist and, while the recording quality and execution are amateurish the songs are well-written. I still get comments on “Tabula Rasa” from time to time and hope everyone who gives these songs a chance finds their own favorite.

It will be available exclusively in our mp3 store, located at our MySpace profile (http://www.myspace.com/shortwavedahlia). Each of the five tracks are available individually at $0.99/track, and a bundled package will be sold at the low price of $3.00.
